It is being reported that Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Prods. has signed an agreement with actress Kirstie Alley for a number of TV projects.
Alley and Winfrey are pretty close, and Alley has appeared on her show on multiple occasions, including her last one in which she dawned a bikini to show off her 75lbs weight loss.
It is not sure currently what the TV projects will be but some are guessing that Alley might eventually end up with her own daytime talk show.
“I’m very open with what I’ve been through in my own personal life, and nothing — I mean nothing — is off-limits for me to talk about,” Alley said. “And I won’t lie — I live a beautiful life. So I hope to bring those elements together to offer something totally fresh for the television audience.”
Winfrey has been instrumental in other names becoming big with daytime talkshow spots, including “Dr. Phil” and “Rachael Ray.”
