It is being reported that the CBS television network has decided to cancil Jericho due to very poor ratings.
The show which stars Skeet Ulrich, was first stopped last May but ralleying fans brought it back from the dead, temporarily it now seems.
The network said that the show’s final episode will be aired this coming Friday, despite attempts by loyal fans to stave off the inevitable.
“Without question, there are passionate viewers watching this program; we simply wish there were more,” CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler said in a statement. “We have no regrets bringing the show back for a second try.”
Last fall, the show was receiving an average viewership of 10.5 million, but this go around it is only averaging just over 6 million viewers per episode.
