Actress and popstar Lindsay Lohan is being reported to have joined the cast of Ugly Betty for the CBS season finale of the show.
She will be playing the role of an old school mate of America Ferrera’s character by the name of Betty Suarez and according to TMZ.com she maybe on as many as 5 episodes
The show’s last episode is scheduled for May 22nd and according to Variety, Lohan began shooting her scenes over the weekend.
She is not the first popstar to be featured in TV sitcoms. Britney Spears has already appeared on one addition of “How I Met Your Mother” and is reported to be making a second appearance on the show in the near future.
