It has been confirmed that the show Law & Order Criminal Intent will remain on television for another year.
According to network USA, the show, starring Vincent D’Onofrio, Kathryn Erbe, Julianne Nicholson and Eric Bogosian will feature 16 new episodes for its upcoming 8th season, down from 22 for its 7th season.
“We’re thrilled to have ‘Law & Order: Criminal Intent’ for another season,” Bonnie Hammer, president of NBCU Cable Entertainment & Cable Studio, said in a statement.
Criminal Intent began airing on NBC, but was moved to USA when it became apparent that there was only room for 2 of the 3 “Law & Order” series.
The show begins airing again on June 8.
