The former host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Regis Philbin is now the host of a new game show to debut on CBS called Million Dollar Password.
The spin-off of the original Password game show airs tonight at 8:00 on CBS but according to critics of the show, we can expect no surprises.
The game originated back in the 60′s but stopped airing in the late 80′s. It is played in teams of two, with one person trying to lead their partner in guessing a specific word.
In its re-debut so to speak the show will feature two celebrities, both from another CBS show, How I Met Your Mother.” They are Rachael Ray
and Neil Patrick Harris.
Philbin is more than happy to be back behind the wheel of a prime time game show: “Prime time itself is the biggest arena we have in our business,” he said.
The first ever “Password” game was aired back in 1961 and hosted by Allen Ludden.
