Christina Applegate has been diagnosed with breast cancer according to a breaking report from Extra.
The cancer has been caught early according to her rep, and she will begin to undergo treatment right away.
Her rep continued by telling Extra, “Benefiting from early detection through a doctor ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening. Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery.”
Christina Applegate, is probably best known for her role in hit ABC sitcom Samantha Who? For her role she has received multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.
She is also well known for her role as Kelly Bundy on the popular “Married … with Children.”
Despite her diagnosis, Applegate says that she will not take any time off work.
