The one and only Barbara Walters has spoken up about comments made against her by Star Jones, who said that women of The View were hateful.
Jones had originally left “The View” back in 2006, due to her contract not being renewed.
In an interview with Essence magazine, Jones voiced her obvious displeasure with not being rehired, saying “Those girls were hateful.”
She also stated that she had gone into a bout of depression, but has regained control of her life and is planning a TV comeback.
Walters appeared to take the high road when she talked about the Jones’ comment: “Star had wonderful years with us on ‘The View.’ And, I think ‘The View’ made Star a star.”
