Pakistan and India Open Up Trading Route Across Kashmir

Pakistan and India have reached a new agreement to open up a trading route across Kashmir.
It is being reported that the countries of Pakistan and India have reached an agreement that will see the creation of a new trade route across Kashmir.

This is the first time in more than 60 years that a trade route has been allowed to exist between the 2 countries, and is the latest agreement under a 2004 peace agreement between the 2 sides.

Tention has been high as of late between the 2 countries, putting their peace agreement in serious danger.

It is hope that things will calm down on both sides now that this new agreement regarding the Himalayan region has been made.

It did not take long to get the ball rolling once the agreement had been reached, as 13 trucks laiden with fruit and vegetables, set off on a historic trip to the Pakistani Kashmir from the Indian-zone of the divided state.

“It is a historic day which will surely help the economy of both parts of Kashmir,” said Indian Kashmir’s Governor N.N. Vohra.
