After a dead deer was found in the kitchen of the China King restaurant in Buffalo, health officials quickly moved to close it down.
According to an inspector from the Erie County Health Department he walked into the kitchen to see employees of the restaurant butchering a dead deer.
State laws strongly prohibit the butchering of any animal inside the kitchen of a restaurant, thus the facility was closed.
Officials state that there is no evidence to prove that the deer was actually served to customers.
It is not known how long the restaurant will be closed for.
A hearing is scheduled for the matter some time next week.
