Meningitis Attacks another Student from University of Pennsylvania

glassWashington (ChatterShmatter) – According to a recent report, a 4th student has been disgnosed with meningitis from the University of Pennsylvania.

Meningitis can be characterized as an infection in the fluid of the brain and spinal cord. Symptoms include fever, stiff neck, rash, fatigue and severe head aches.

2 people have been infected last month and 1 other person earlier in March.

People that have may come into close contact with the diagnosed student have been informed and are currently being treated for precaution reasons.

Health officials state that there appears to be no connection between  this latest case and the previous ones.

Spring break is just about to begin over at the University, therefore fewer students will be visible on the campus.
