A large fight at a Miami school has resulted in more than 1 dozen students being dragged away by police.
The fight began after a protest at Miami Edison Senior High School over another arrested student got out of hand and according to Charles Hurley, a schools police commander, the situation got very “unruly.”
It is being reported that a few police officers were mildly injured during the scene but it is not believed that any weapons were used.
The school currently remains in lockdown.
Miami Edison recently celebrated a change in status from a designation of an “F” or failing to “D” based on Florida’s ranking of public schools.
