London (ChatterShmatter)- A 14 minute track recorded in 1967 has been confirmed by Paul McCartney.
The track titled Carnival of Light was an impromptu session recorded for an electronic music festival and while at the time it was considered too adventurous to have been released Paul McCartney wants the fans to hear it.
In order for that to happen however a number of legal hurdles would have to be cleared, including the authorization by Ringo Starr and the estates of John Lennon and George Harrison.
There was talk of including this track on one of the complelations of Beatles hits released in the 1990′s but the remaining members voted it out. This track has only seen the light of day once at said festival but captures the freedom that is the Beatles.
