This study which was published by the American Journal of Medicine, Dr. Steven DeKosky led a study which reviewed the cases of approximately 3,000 people all over the age of 75.
The requirements of the study were such that half of the participants would each day take 120 milligrams of the herb ginkgo biloba twice per day while the other half took a placebo.
The disappointing results of the study showed that the antioxidant had no effect on the progression of the disease. The participants who had taken the actual supplement we just as likely to show development and progression of dementia and Alzheimer’s.
