Washington (ChatterShmatter) – A Kentucky high school student is in critical condition after being diagnosed with an MRSA bacteria infection.
Ryan Robinson was admitted to the hospital for care on Thursday evening after playing for his school’s soccer team earlier that day.
They originally thought he had the flu, however the MRSA infection was located afterwards.
West Jessamine High School junior Ryan Robinson is in critical condition at the University of Kentucky Hospital and is currently on life support.
As a result of Ryan Robinson’s infection, the school was thoroughly cleaned and people that came in close contact with him are currently being monitored.
Friends, family and students are praying for the teen on popular websites such as Facebook with groups called “Please Pray for Ryan Robinson”.
