Washington (ChatterShmatter) – The NASA space shuttle Discovery has met with the International Space Station.
The space shuttle Discovery has successfully made its way up to the International Space Station.
Along with it, Discovery brought along solar wings which will be added to the station in a spacewalk.
The mission is going to be carried out soon and will add on to the solar panels already installed.
Solar panels were not all that Discovery brought though, as it also delivered a spare urine processor and iodine flush.
This is all to help out their water system aboard the International Space Station.
Discovery will also bring back Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata from the ISS.
The shuttle will leave behind a new ISS resident, Sandra Magnus.
