Washington (ChatterShmatter) – A volcano in Alaska named Mount Redoubt has blown its lid, erupting 4 times!
A volcano watch was put in place as of Sunday by the Alaska Volcano Observatory.
Work was done around the clock to stay up on the volcano, and predictions proved correct.
They managed to record several earthquakes as of late, all around a 1 on the Richter scale.
They led them to believe that the volcano may be ready to erupt any day now.
The alert level was increased after researchers discovered 1,000-foot high steam plumes coming out of the volcano on Saturday.
All of this proved absolutely correct as the volcano erupted 4 times over the course of Sunday night into Monday morning.
