Just in time for Christmas is more than 700 layoffs by Yahoo.
The company announced earlier this year that they would be letting people go and now the time has come for the axe to fall.
It is expected that 600 to 700 workers would be let go right in time for Christmas, with employees being let go starting as early as today.
The majority of cuts are expected to come in the U.S. products group, which is already undergone an overhaul since new CEO Carol Bartz.
This is the fourth time in the last four years that Yahoo has fired staff, and with a workforce of more than 14,000 many are wondering what the company is doing wrong?
Over at Google, things are going great as the company recently announced raises for all of their employees.
