(ChatterShmatter) – Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has just gotten engaged to television reporter Candice Crawford.
Romo, out for the year because of a broken collarbone sustained in an October 25th game against the Giants, proposed to Crawford during a dinner party for her 24th birthday on Thursday night.
As for the engagement ring, it appears that Romo did not hold back when it came to the price, maybe trying to one-up his ex Jessica Simpson?
The ring features a 4-carat diamond set in platinum surrounded by a unique design that would not have come cheap.
No wedding date has been announced and we expect the couple to get around to doing this after they have enjoyed the thrill of being newly engaged.
As for Crawford, her bio on the website for the TV station she works for says that she loves going to Cowboys games, cooking, running and playing basketball.
