Drug maker Pfizer have just announced that they are expanding a recall of Lipitor to include an extra 19,000 bottles.
The blockbuster cholesterol lowering drug comes with a musty smell from the bottle, leading to more than 345,000 bottles being recalled since August of this year.
Pfizer states that the odor in question is actually TBA, which is a chemical used to treat the wooden pallets that the drug was stored on.
They also stated that it was one complaint from an unhappy customer that started the latest recall, dated on December 17.
The lot number of this latest batch of smelly Lipitor is 0836050.
