A state of emergency has been declared in New Jersey by acting Governor Steve Sweeney. Mother Nature has decided to make things very difficult for residents of the state, as in other parts of the country as well with a severe amount of snow fall up to 20 inches in some areas.
Travelers are being advised to stay at home and people are taking time off work simply because getting there is no easy task. Even sporting events are being hit hard, as fans are not able to get to arenas to cheer on their teams. The Devils Leafs game yesterday was taken in by less than 6,000 fans, the lowest turn out for a Devils game in years.
