If you are bored tonight and looking for something to watch why not tune into CBS at 9:00 PM tonight to watch the Kennedy Center honor some of the best of our time. Some big names that were given Kennedy Center Honors earlier this month included: Merle Haggard, Paul McCartney, Oprah Winfrey, composer Jerry Herman and dancer/choreographer Bill T. Jones.
Haggard, 73, has had quite the life including some time in jail, a battle with lung cancer which he was able to beat, and the honor of being a White House guest of both Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan. He apparently has no plans to slow down any time soon as he plans to start a new band with fellow geezers Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson.
