Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has been named as the starter for the NFC at the Pro Bowl to be played on January 30 in Honolulu. Vick, who sat out two years because of a dog fighting conviction was the overwhelming pick to lead the NFC in a vote by players, the league and fans.
For Vick this will be his third trip to the Pro Bowl, as he previously made three trips to Hawaii as a member of the Atlanta Falcons. Speaking of his former mates, Atlanta will be sending seven players to the Pro Bowl, and seven first timers will play for the NFC. For the AFC, four players will make their Pro Bowl debuts.
