Former Israeli President Moshe Katsav better get used to spending time in small spaces as he has been found guilty of rape. Katsav was facing charges of raping an aid on numerous occasions when he served as a cabinet minister in the late 1990s, and sexually assaulting other women when he was president of the country.
“This is a sad day for the state of Israel and its residents,” stated Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “Today the court conveyed two clear-cut messages, that all are equal before the law and that every woman has exclusive rights to her body,” Netanyahu added. Katsav, will more than likely spend the remainder of his life locked up.
