It has been a bad week for UConn teams as on Thursday night the female Huskies basketball team lost for the first time in 91 games, and now their football team has just been clobbered by Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl by the score of 48-20.
Making the situation even worse is the fact that post game, star running back Jordan Todman announced his intent to leave for the NFL. “I felt like it was the right time for me,’” Todman said. His coach, Randy Edsall backs his decision, saying: “He has made a difference in this program, made a huge difference. Todman could only muster 126 yards on 32 carries.
