Paula Abdul loves to judge, and after ditching American Idol it has not taken her long to find a new show to sink her teeth into. She is back in front of the television cameras, this time as host, star and a producer of “Live to Dance,” a new dance competition debuting on CBS this Tuesday.
The show is a virtual copy cat of Dancing with the Stars, aside from the fact that contestants dance by themselves instead of whith a professional partner. “‘Live to Dance’ is a passion project of mine,” Abdul says. “It’s paying tribute to my roots. I want to get involved in a project that allowed my passion to come through.” Also judging the dancers are Kimberly Wyatt, formerly of the Pussycat Dolls and choreographer Travis Payne.
