The preliminary trial hearing for accused Michael Jackson killer Dr. Conrad Murray is being held today in Los Angeles. The hearing is to determine if the doctor should be taken to trial following the untimely death of the King of Pop, and both the prosecution and defense will have a chance to lay their cards on the table.
According to the prosecution, Murray waited more than 20 minutes to call the paramedics once he realized that Jackson was in trouble. Jackson’s bodyguard Alberto Alvarez is also expected to testify at the hearing, and will tell how Murray ordered him to dispose of syringes before the paramedics showed up. Jackson died following a massive dose of propofol which Murray alleges Jackson administered to himself.
