Birds falling from the sky in Arkansas are causing alarm and now it is being reported that Sweden is experiencing the same problem. An estimated 50 jackdaws have been found dead on a city street, with no apparent cause for their deaths.
The thousands of birds that have died in Arkansas are believed to have simply died from shock associated with the noise of fireworks on New Year’s Eve, and according to Swedish veterinarian Robert ter Horst fireworks may also be to blame for the death of the birds in the country. The cold weather he says may also be partially to blame.
