There is a major shake up in the coffee industry as Starbucks is changing their logo. The new logo will not include any text at all, and will center around the company siren which has been the mainstay behind the logo for the past 40 years.
“Throughout the last four decades, the Siren has been there through it all,” Starbucks Chairman, President and CEO Howard Schultz explains. “And now, we’ve given her a small but meaningful update to ensure that the Starbucks brand continues to embrace our heritage in ways that are true to our core values and that also ensure we remain relevant and poised for future growth.”
