Taco Bell meat is at the center of a lawsuit filed that alleges that their “seasoned ground beef” is actually nothing of the sort. According to the plaintiff whose suit was filed in California cort, Taco Bell’s meat is actually mostly non-meat substances.
The suit reads: “The ‘chicken’ and ‘carne asada steak’ served by Taco Bell is, in fact, chicken or carne asada steak,” the lawsuit says. “The ‘seasoned beef,’ however, is not beef.” According to Taco Bell President Greg Creed Taco Bell only uses 100 percent U.S. Department of Agriculture-inspected beef in a “proprietary blend of seasonings and spices.”
