Anderson Silva made short work of opponent Vitor Belfort in defending his world middleweight title last night. The fight did not even make it past the first round thanks to silva’s lethal left foot.
Next up for the superstar is a likely clash with Canadian sensation Georges St. Pierre, as after last night’s dramatic victory, UFC president Dana White said as much. “I think that if Georges wins his next fight, that’s what we will do,” White said in the post fight press conference. “The biggest challenge is where it will be. It’s all just theory. GSP has to win his fight and he has to come out healthy. He’s going to fight Georges St. Pierre at 185 pounds.”
