It is being reported that j. paul getty iii has died at the age of 54. The grandson of a multibillionaire oil magnate, born into huge wealth died over the weekend according to a statement released by his son, Balthazar.
Getty, for those who remember was the man kidnapped back in 1973, losing part of an ear when his kidnappers cut it off when their randsome demands were not met in a prompt fashion. He spent the majority of his adult life hooked on alcohol and drugs, factors which probably lead to his early death. Since 1981, he has needed around the clock care following a stroke.
