One of the most deadliest forms of cancer for women is cervical cancer. This type of cancer is fatal in the majority of cases because cervical cancer symptoms are very few and far between in the beginning, meaning that in the initial phase there are few if any warning signs.
Risk factors associated with cervical cancer include: sex at an early age, multiple sex partners, having sex with somebody who has had multiple sex partners, HPV infection, etc. Women are urged to have a pap test every year to check for any changes in tissue cells that could indicate a problem but up to 80% of those newly diagnosed with cervical cancer have not had one in the past.
