Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Hank Goldberg has granted Charlie Sheen a divorce from his long time wife Brooke Mueller.
The pair will not officially be legally single until May 2 but after that, Sheen is free of Brooke and she is free of him.
The pair have had their problems as of late, most notably an incident on Christmas Day last year in their Colorado home where Brooke alleges that Charlie pinned her to their bed and threatened to kill her.
Sheen will be allowed to keep their family home, and the rest of their assets will be split between them both, according to court documents.
The pair will share legal custody of their sons, and due to a prenup Sheen will have to pay Brooke $750,000.
