It is being reported that Lance Armstrong has officially retired and this time he says there will be no come back. The seven time Tour De France winner is a cancer survivor and at the age of 39 wants to spend more time with his family and working with his charities.
He first retired back in 2005 but came out of retirement to finish third in the tour in 09. “Today, I am announcing my retirement from professional cycling in order to devote myself full-time to my family, to the fight against cancer and to leading the foundation I established before I won my first Tour de France,” he said in a statement.
