Auto maker Honda have announced a recall of up to 700,000 vehicles sold in India, Japan and other Asian countries over fear of engine problems. The risk deals with a spring placed in the engine box of certain vehicles that appears to have been placed incorrectly resulting in the car not running properly.
The cars being recalled are the Fit, Freed and the City. So far Honda have received nearly 100 complaints from Honda owners but no accidents have been reported stemming from the problem. The recall includes 167,000 vehicles in Japan, 156,000 in China, and 233,000 in the rest of Asia.
