Two-And-A-Half Men has been shut down for the rest of the season thanks to the recent outburst by star Charlie Sheen aimed directly at the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre. During an interview on a Los Angeles radio station, Sheen referred to Lorre as a “clown” – and a “turd.”
CBS chose to terminate the show for the rest of the year, and along with it Sheen’s handsome pay cheques which are estimated to be worth hundreds of thousands of bucks per. “Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen’s statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of ‘Two and a Half Men’ for the remainder of the season,” the companies said in a statement released Thursday.
