Mother Nature is up to her old tricks again, as she has decided to paint San Francisco with a light dusting of snow! It is very rare indeed for the city to experience snow fall, just more evidence that Mother Nature is not only unpredictable but damn right annoying.
According to the National Weather Service, snow fell late Friday and early Saturday on the city’s Twin Peaks neighborhood and some other areas with higher elevations but it was raining down town. The last time snow was on the ground in San Francisco was back in 1976, when residents had an inch of the white stuff to deal with.
