Don LaFontaine, the voice of movie trailers has died at the age of 68 from complications dealing with an ongoing illness
It is being reported that the voice of many movie trailers, Don LaFontaine, has died at the age of 68.
According to his agent Vanessa Gilbert, LaFontaine died at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Monday.
While working for more than 33 years, he worked with many top movie studios and television networks, and is the voice behind more than 5000 movie trailers.
LaFontaine was a true gentleman, always insisting that he did not mind not being in the public image.
During his most recent years, he continued working, but from home, receiving his scripts via his fax machine.
He is survived by his wife Nita Whitaker, and 3 daughters.
No details pertaining to his funeral have been released yet.
