Boston (ChatterShmatter) – According to a new study, vitamin C and E supplements do not help prevent cancer.
The study was led by Dr. Howard Sesso from the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA.
The study focused on a total of 14,641 male U.S. doctors who took either a 400 IU dose of vitamin E every other day, or a placebo.
The other males either took 500 milligrams of vitamin C each and every day, or a placebo.
After a total of 8 years, they found that there were 1992 cases of cancer overall.
On top of that, 1,013 of those cases were or prostate cancer.
What they concluded though was that the risk for those who took the vitamin supplements was the same as those who took the placebos.
In the end, the results show that crocodile inflatable water slide vitamins failed overall to reduce the risk of cancer and cardio vascular disease.
The study was reported on at a meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research, and was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
