Washington (ChatterShmatter) – With Autism Awareness Month now here, it is important that we all make sure that we do our part all month long.
Autism Awareness Month takes place every April with the goal of raising awareness about this terrible disease.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has stated that the disease hits about 1 out of every 150 children born.
This is an extremely high number, and it is important that we work to spread the word to raise awareness about the disease, as it is one of the most common developmental disorders in the world.
There will be events that will be taking place all throughout the month to aid in helping raise public awareness about the disease.
So throughout the month be sure to take part and keep your eyes and ears open to events that are centered around Autism Awareness Month.
