Country singer Willie Nelson was arrested early Friday morning after border patrol officers discovered marijuana on his tour bus.
The 77 year old was one of three people arrested and charged with pot possession after officers opened the door to the bus and smelled marijuana inside.
This is not the first time that the star has been busted for pot possession and it probably will not be his last.
Nelson was taken into custody but let go on $2500 bond.
‘It’s kind of surprising, but I mean we treat him like anybody else,’ Hudspeth County Sheriff Arvin West told the El Paso Times.
‘He could get 180 days in county jail, which if he does, I’m going to make him cook and clean. He can wear the stripy uniforms just like the other ones do.’
