Twitter have just released the top trends of 2010, giving us a look at what were the hottest topics of conversation.
The list is comprised of a mixture of different genres, including tech, music and even sports.
More than 25 billion tweets have been sent so far, many of them dealing with issues involving golfer Tiger Woods, Canadian singer Justin Bieber and the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
The oil spill earlier this year topped the list of top Twitter trends, followed by the World Cup and the movie “Inception.”
Coming in fourth was the Hatian earthquake, and coming in at number five was Vuvuzela, the buzzing horn that was made so popular in South Africa during the World Cup.
As for Canadian singer Justin Bieber, he was the eighth most popular topic of discussion on Twitter this year.
