There appears to be new competition to rival the dominance of the Apple iPad. The new Motorola Xoom was unveiled at CES in Los Vegas yesterday and runs on the Android operating system.
The iPad has dominated the tablet market since it debuted but companies have been hard at work designing handsets to rival it. The Xoom comes with a 10-inch screen, and two cameras, one at the front and one at the back. It has a 1280×800 display and has a battery life of approximately 10 hours for video. It will be debuting on Verizon’s 3G network in the near future.
