Pitcher Matt Garza will more than likely be playing in Chicago next season as he is close to signing a deal with the Cubs. The former Tampa Bay Rays ace will be a formedable addition to the Cub’s pitching staff as they look to compete in the National League.
The Rays have lost a lot of talent over the offseason after winning the AL East but then sputtering in the Playoffs. Going the other way, it is believed that the Rays will get four players; pitcher Chris Archer, shortstop Hak-Ju Lee, outfielder Brandon Guyer and infielder Robinson Chirinos as they apparently are planning on going young.
