Christina Aguilera should be used to singing live in front of thousands of people, and she should also be used to singing the National Anthem at sporting events because she has done it many times. Last night however she could not seem to remember the words, screwing up the one song that signifies America.
Instead of singing the line “O’er the ramparts we watch’d, were so gallantly streaming,” in its place she belted out: “What so proudly we watched at the
twilight’s last reaming.” It did not take people long to jump on the Aguilera sucks band wagon as Twitter was buzzing shortly after the ‘oops’ to chide her for her mistake. Maybe she should stick to studeo performances.
