It is being reported that Ashlee Simpson has filed for divorce from Pete Wentz. She filed papers yesterday in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences as her reason for ending her nearly three year marriage to the rocker.
Simpson is asking for joint legal custody — and primary physical custody — of their 2-year-old son, Bronx Mowgli. She is also petitioning the court to restore her name to Ashlee Nicole Simpson. There is no prenup in play here so a straight division of the couple’s joint assets is the most likely scinario.
