One bad thing about social networking is that what you say can sometimes backfire, thus is the case for former Deputy Attorney General for Indiana Jeffrey Cox. He posted to his Twitter page that Wisconsin police should “use live ammunition,” a tweet that did not sit well with his superiors.
Jeffrey’s actual tweet was, “Use live ammunition RT @ MotherJones Sources in Madison say riot police have been ordered to clear protesters from capitol at 2 am #wiunion. Cox subsequently tweeted: “@ AdamWeinstein against thugs physically threatening legally-elected state legislators & governor? You’re damn right I advocate deadly force.”
