Washington (ChatterShmatter) – It does not appear as though Nintendo is sold on Facebook or Twitter just yet, as they will not be supported by the Nintendo Wii U online service.
Nintendo is getting ready to launch the Nintendo Wii U with the online service known as Miiverse.
The online service is going to be Nintendo’s very own social network in a sense.
The company has confirmed though that their brand new start-up social network is not going to integrate with either Facebook or Twitter out of the gate.
This is sad news for Nintendo fans as the new Nintendo Wii U Miiverse is all about posting social status updates about your progress in games and socializing with friends.
The Nintendo Wii U community is essentially going to be blocked from other social networks with this move, confined to users only in the Nintendo ecosystem.
Nintendo has stated that the Nintendo Wii U Miiverse is going to be a very simple, easy-to-use online service.
Needless to say, this is not the type of news Nintendo fans want to hear as they gear up for the release of the Wii U.
